International Activities & Collaborations
Through International Connects, ODM International School ensures that students are exposed in a manner that will be advantageous to them in the global environment. ODM encourages students to participate in national and international Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. It is an academic simulation of the United Nations designed to educate participants on civic and current affairs, effective communication, international issues, and multilateral diplomacy.
In addition, the school participates in numerous School Immersion Programs. Students from ODM have travelled to countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and others. These academic and cultural exchange programmes provide a fruitful learning environment for our students. Additionally, the school engages in Collaborative Learning in order to share and disseminate novel ideas with other educational institutions around the world and, ultimately, to spread quality education to a larger audience.
Library
- The library's books can be issued to students, and the maximum number of books that a student may borrow varies by class.
- Before borrowing a book, each student must inspect it. They are responsible for any damage to the book upon its return. In the event of loss, students will be required to cover the cost of the textbook.
- Students should not lend their library books to other individuals. In the event of a loss, the original borrower will bear responsibility.
L.E.A.P Series
“Learn. Engage. Aspire. Prosper.” – This is an initiative wherein eminent personalities are invited to the campus to address the students. The guests share their experiences, shortfalls, successes and learnings with the students. We strongly believe that witnessing such talks and events helps in building character and inspiring students.
Educational Tours & Trips
The school organises educational field trips that foster students' personal, social, and emotional growth. Site visits are a significant component of our course, during which students visit businesses and educational institutions and gain insight into the inner workings of an institution. Annual Tours, National and International Trips are designed to facilitate cultural exchanges and provide exposure. These visits are unquestionably essential to our teaching methodology. A student is permitted to participate in each of these activities only after receiving parental permission via consent forms.
High Flyer Awards
Twice a year, ODM International School holds an Award Ceremony to recognise academically outstanding students, section and class-teachers. This event also recognises students who participated in extracurricular activities and won competitions within the previous two quarters. Punctuality (as determined by class attendance) and discipline (as determined by classroom conduct) are also recognised and commended at this Ceremony.
